Corporate Responsibility

Ventrica Ltd recognises its corporate social responsibilities (CSR) towards our customers, clients, employees, suppliers and other stakeholders. As an organisation we are committed to making lasting real contributions to the local communities in which we operate. We are also committed to being a good employer and reducing our carbon footprint and promoting environmental sustainability.

Our approach to CSR reflects the steps that we are taking to ensure we are, and remain, a good corporate citizen. CSR encompasses everything we do that has an impact on society around us. It underpins our values and behaviours and sits at the heart of our organisation.

As an organisation we champion digital solutions for our clients, such as cloud-based services, digital vouchers supporting our client’s to deliver against their CSR priorities such as the reduction of printing reducing environmental impact. However, the focus of this statement and our activities is on Ventrica Ltd as an organisation.

Our comitment to CSR

We are committed to ensuring that as an organisation we take our CSR seriously. To ensure we meet our commitment, we:

  • Minimise the environmental impact of our corporate activities and work towards reducing our Identify and address issues of equality, diversity and inclusion amongst our current and future workforce
  • Ensure that employees are supported in their mental and physical health and treated with dignity, respect and in accordance with basic human rights
  • Enhance our fundraising and volunteering activities for third party good causes
Workplace

Environment

We seek to minimise the environmental impact of our activities through initiative such as reducing our plastic usage.

We are committed to preventing pollution, minimising waste from our offices and workplaces and adopting good environmental management practices. We seek to improve the efficiency of our use of resources by conducting activities and operations in line with current environmental legislation and best environmental practices.

Community

Employees regularly take part in volunteering projects and are encouraged to participate in local community projects, or projects of their own choosing, that carry particular resonance for them. We volunteer at a number of local schools providing mentoring and career coaching, along with working with our local further education suppliers.

Many of our employees are from the areas local to their workplaces and we aim to build long term relationships with the local community and local groups.

We sponsor both global and local charities which support various initiative including Mind, Harp, Great Ormond Street Hospital amongst others, many of which are nominated by employees.
